Bringing rescue and restoration to vulnerable women and youth.
Life at the brick factory can be terrifying for single young women that are trapped in a cycle of slavery. Every evening as the sun sets, their anxiety rises as they are unsure whether or not they will be the next victim of a violent attack.
Inaya has been sexually abused numerous times because there is nowhere safe for her to sleep at night. Together we can do something to help Inaya and dozens of other women.
That is why we are urgently raising funds to build a women-only dorm on the brick factory grounds. This dorm will have enough space to provide shelter for at least 20 young women at a time, and will be armed with a security system to ensure their safety. We will also use the space to offer sewing classes at night so that the women can learn a skill that will allow them to be free from the brick factory.
The budget for this dorm is $120,000.
Your generous gift today will protect a young woman.
When vulnerable women and youth find themselves shunned, rejected and abandoned by their entire community our team walks beside them providing the support and counseling needed for survival.
When an individual graduates from one of our vocational schools, they have the skills they need to support themselves and their families. Along with practical skills we aim to give each person life skills and spiritual healing as well.
Our end goal is that each person who goes through one of our vocational schools will be equipped with the skills they need to become self-sufficient. Some of our graduates decide to find employment while others open their own business.

Maeghan’s journey from the slums to becoming the Chief Operations Officer at era92 Creative is a testament to the transformative power of opportunity. Maeghan grew up in the poverty stricken Kosovo slum in Uganda, but that did not stop her from dreaming big. Once she heard about the era92 Elevate program she decided that her life would not be consumed by drugs and crime, but rather she would get an education and support her family. After completing the program she was hired on staff, and through hard work, determination, and dedication she rose to a key role. Through the era92 program Maeghan went from surviving the slums to thriving as a Chief Operations Officer!
Rebecca’s journey from teenage motherhood to academic triumph is a compelling testament of courage and determination. As a 13 year old girl Rebecca would make crafts and sell them for income. One of her clients defiled her resulting in a pregnancy. She was referred to live at the princess shelter where she was given all the healthcare needed to have a safe pregnancy and delivery. After giving birth Rebecca joined the School of Purpose to learn vocational skills and eventually returned to formal school to further her dream of becoming a lawyer. Through the School of Purpose Rebecca has gone from surviving teenage motherhood to thriving as a law student!
Ava’s journey from nearly being prostituted to graduating formal education is a testament to the power of hope and love. Ava found herself in a position of needing money and a place to live so her friend offered her a job at a restaurant. After becoming employed she quickly realized that this was no ordinary restaurant, she had instead found herself working in a brothel. Before she could be taken advantage of, she was connected to our House of Hope. We immediately rescued her and gave her a safe space to stay where she learned essential life skills and was given the tools she needed to finish her education up to grade 12. She is now employed in a job that she loves. Ava went from surviving a brothel to thriving as a graduate!
